Your first destination will be the small town of Ljutomer in the centre of Prlekija, a Slovenian region famous for excellent wines, food and a rich cultural heritage. You will then make a circular journey around the wine hills of Jeruzalem, a region that has been described as ‘a heavenly place where one can find the best food and wine, the most beautiful landscape, and the most hospitable people’. For those cyclists who prefer flatter routes, we can go along the lower roads through the Prlekija region, including a visit to the pumpkin oil farm in the village of Ključarovci. Your tasting is included. The tour then continues along the fabulous Gajševsko Jezero lake to the pretty town of Veržej and winds all the way to the thermal spa of Terme Banovci, where you can swim if you like. |
